The revered music source Pitchfork.com has listed Isis‘ new album, Wavering Radient, under the category “best new albums.” It doesn’t end there. Pitchfork contributor Roque Strew has plenty of praise for the effort, “these self-professed Fennesz and Pink Floyd devotees have turned often-drab contemporary guitar rock into music flush with fresh emotions and ideas… collecting the entire band in one place, and writing without a deadline has lent Radiant a sense of completeness and unity that recalls album-rock’s golden years.” Click here to read the entire review. Remember you can catch ISIS with Keelhaul at In the Venue on June 16th. Tickets.
